Reunion
Today I care not if your politics
Are from the left or right,
Or if your hair has now turned grey
Or is still as black as night.
It doesn't bother me
If you are married or you're not,
And I'm not concerned about
How many kids you've got,
If you have ten degrees
That follow your last name,
Or if you are a laborer,
Or have achieved real fame.
Whether you drive a Bentley
Or a delapidated Ford,
Or if you live on social aid,
Or know a British lord..
Just for today I relish
Reminiscing with you my friend,
Time melts away
And here we are -
Only 16 again.
